ChatGPT

Manage your content from ChatGPT.

ChatGPT can connect to the Verlynk MCP server through Connectors in your account settings. Once connected, you can draft posts, check your queue, and manage content using natural language.

Setup

1. Create an API Key

Create an API key with the mcp:access scope in Organization Settings (org admin only).

2. Add the Verlynk MCP Server

ChatGPT connects to MCP servers through Connectors — you add the server URL and auth header directly, without a local proxy.

  1. Open chatgpt.com and go to Settings.
  2. Navigate to Connectors (under Apps or Beta features, depending on your plan).
  3. Click Add connector or New MCP server.
  4. Enter the server details:
    • URL: https://verlynk.com/api/public/mcp
    • Authentication: Custom header
    • Header name: Authorization
    • Header value: Bearer YOUR_MCP_KEY
  5. Save and enable the connector.
note

ChatGPT MCP connector availability varies by plan and region. If Connectors are not available in your account, use Claude, Cursor, or another MCP client instead.

3. Verify the Connection

Start a new chat, enable the Verlynk connector, and ask it to list your connected channels. You should see Verlynk tools available in the conversation.
